Distracted by shiny things

There is this song which I can't remember the name of, or who is it by. But I can remember the video exactly.

There is this woman in a car driving away and this man is trying to get her attention, waving his hands about, but she is crying and appears to be ignoring him. She wasn't looking in front of her and crashes against a lorry, I think. A crowd gathers, but she is dead as her soul leaves her body, goes through the croud and she can now see the man, they both smile and walk away together. I think they were holding hands. It ends with a shot of a newspaper with a picture of the man and an anouncement of his death.

I am pretty sure this is famous and I should know it, but I can't think of it.

If someone does think of it, please tell me and you will get a prize. I am not sure what yet, BUT I HAVE TO KNOW! It has been bugging me and my brother refuses to accept that it is a real song and told me I was crazy. It is real dammit.
