I have been back for a week without updating or even communicating with people much, don't go on msn for reasons unknown and have buried myself in fandom as a sort of way to escape the real world, or exam results to be perfectly honest.

And today I get a magazine from the Independent that tell me to

BE POSITIVE!

And I want to listen to it even if it has arrived too early and informs me oh so helpfully that "The waiting is over" when it most certainly isn't but I can't. Up to now I have suppressed all thoughts concerning results, simply refusing to think about them but in less that 3 days I will know and I am so terrified and so unsure even though I know that I will be definitely going to a university the question is which one and it shouldn't matter that much but it does.

Oh yeah, my dad came home to tell me that a colleague told him that his daughter said the results will appear online on the ucas webside Wednesday evening! I don't know whether to believe this, but I have heard from other people that the universities would have made the decisions before we get our results and this decision will be on ucastrack early on Thursday morning. (before we get them from school) Does anybody know if that is true? I don't want to know, I think that it is evil to not be given a chance to call your university and beg.

Oh and LiveJournal, sending me remainders every five seconds to inform me of my soon to expire account? Not helping my mood! Especially since now you get 100 icons! OMG! I don't care how but I am getting that. *plots credit credit card fraud. Eh* Thank you, thank you, thank you! ♥♥♥

One good thing is that I can finally find a reason to use this icon, I love it like whoa.

PS. I watched the first three episodes of Lost yesterday, impressed but want more character development and soon.

I've been hearing lots of rumours about the whole thing. I'll probably try ucastrack because I'm desperate, but the same rumour went round last year except that they said it'd update at 12am. My friend tried it and it didn't work. They are doing new things this year though, like sending letters of uni confirmations, so it might be true. I'm still doubtful though.

And yay, Lost! Talk about it more! First impressions? Favourite/least favourite characters? Prettiest characters? ;)

Well I am certainly checking, I am just afraid it will mean I will get no sleep at all, oh well.

I liked Lost, it has the feel of a film and not a series, I totally thought there were dinosaurs on the island despite hearing about the polar bears. I have heard crazy rumours, but don't spoil me, just tell me if you know what did Kate do? It's killing me. I like Jack and Kate for now, also Sawer is fascinating and Charlie is cool, Boome is hothothot and his sister (Shannon?) is annoying, Locke is creepy but cool, I feel so sorry for Sun and her husband is evil. Pregnant girl (what was her name? I call her Tess, did you ever watch Roswell?) I am not sure about yet. Fat guy is lovely. And they certainly are a pretty cast, prettiest is Boome, but that is because I love Ian and Jack, Shannon and Kate also pretty.

I know about Serenity, I have a rl friend obsessed with Firefly and quite a big chunk of my flist too, I have wanted to see it but had no idea where to get it from. I've heard that the film is incredible.

Yay for tv shows, they make everything better!

Me too! I'm a little scared at how little sleep I've been getting recently, means I'm more prone to tears now, oh dear.

And I did watch Roswell for a bit, and I'm so glad you said that. I've been wondering who the girl reminded me of, and now I know. :D

TV shows are great like that, I think I'm going to have a TWW marathon later today, to help with nerves.

Hopefully we can see Serenity together at Oxford! :D (Oh, and then later on, GoF film!)

Don't worry too much about things, especially not about results or paid accounts, because it's too late to do anything about the results anyway and the LJ fairy will take care of that pesky little expiring problem ;-)

OMG! I...didn't post about the account because I wanted a gift but because I got two emails in the space of five minutes and now you did this again and I haven't even talked to you in a month! I don't know what to say, thank you soo much!!!! It certainly has improved my mood I am all bouncy now :)))) We need to catch up, update more! We haven't talked for that long? We so need to remedy that.

Up with me? Tons of things ;-) First my job kept me extremly busy because two of my coworkers were fired, but fortunately we hired someone recently. Then, last week I went to the doctor which lead to me being transfered to the hospital for a surgery and now I'm on sick leave and have too much time and nothing to do.

And no, I'm still not into H/D. I'm looking for long angsty post-HBP Snarry fics though.

No, I was in Spain for a week and then in Bulgaria for two and time flies even when I am a home with nothing to do. We do! I am on line a lot, I just hide, so ping me when you are here and I will probably respond.

Now, waiting for exam results sucks almost more than sitting for the exams themselves. I was a nervous wreck the two days before I got my CPE exam results, and the exam doesn't even matter all that much. In the morning when I went to the site, I told my sis that I might need comforting afterwards. But except from the fact that my heart was going to escape through my throat in the few seconds after I hit the 'show results' button, everything went fine, and it didn't actually hurt one bit.

Moreover, you studied so much (come on, all that Maths!) that there's no way you are not getting a place exactly where you want it. *is sure*

That's true, I never worry during the exams, but I am terrified at the prospect of finding out. Unfortunately I was quite serious, I just make the most ridiculous mistakes of the copying things wrong kind, not that it isn't silly to worry considering I can't exactly do anything about it. Oh well.

I am on an icon craze right now, very pleased of what I have and uploading more, 100 is a lot to fill.
