Arghhh! I just typed up a loong entry about my night out and the oddest dream ever. And it was a good post too and my dream was long and detailed and I wanted to remember it dammit! I hate it when LJ eats my posts, but this time it is entirely my fault. Because I wanted to save it just in case it doesn't post, so I highlighted it all and pressed paste!!! Yes, paste, and in the place of my entry tere was a fic I recently wrote. I am angry also stupid.

But I am now amused, because I received a letter. A survey from my constituency's Conservative Candidate! hahahaha. Like I would ever vote for him. At least I now know his name, whats with men named Iain being Conseravitive, it's an odd name too. Still. So amused. I haven't got any other pre-election mail. Unimpressed, Labour, unimpressed. I think I will fill the survey, they even included an envelope. How thoughtful.

We got spam from our Tory MP too. I took great pleasure in drawing obscene doodles and insulting comments all over the pictures, but was prevented by my mother from posting it back to his constituency office. *pout*

I do know one Labour member called Iain, mind. Unfortunately, he has a reputation as a perv. Mreh.

The Tory MPs are being very organised, Milton Keynes is pretty solid Labour with a Lib Dem council, so thankfully they don't have much of a chance. :) Where do you live?

Clearly Iain is a terrible name *nods*

Is that Neil Gaiman in your icon? *fangirls*

Neily Neil! *squee*

South Norfolk, aka very safe Tory seat. Grr. Oh well, only seven-and-a-bit months until I am registered in Oxford, constituency of Evan Harris the Lib Dem. Which is good enough.

I didn't know Oxford was a Lib Dem seat! Must be all the students. By the "good enough", I am guessing you are Labour? I am so glad I am 18 and can vote in the upcoming election, most of my friends think I am insane. Oh well.

I am a Labour member with war-and-other-related voting angst, that common breed. Not that I'll be able to vote this year *glare* So jealous of the people who can, although if I could I'd just fuss endlessly about whether to swallow my misgivings and stick with Labour, or tactically vote LD as they're the only ones with a chance of at least...reducing the MP's majority. Wah. In a way I have voted before, because I forced my mother to leave the house last Euro-elections and she let me pick who to vote for. Chose LD, as they're the most pro-European of the main parties (and anything that could slap U-fucking-KIP in the face was a Good Thing in my eyes) and their MEPs actually do stuff.

Odd. I didn't get a comment notification email for this.

I am too liberal for Labour, will most likely be voting Lib Dem. Even if I think that they couldn't possibly run the country. Not that they are going to have the chance, at least in the near future. That makes me sound so flaky, I guess you could say that I am a Lib Dem in principle and Labour when it comes to having a plausible economic policy. Gah, I confuse even myself.

Oh well, you'll be 18 next time, if your seat is as solid as you said, you wouldn't have made much of a difference. Um, I hate saying something like that, it is so often the reason people use against voting.

*goes back to writing last minute essay*
