Have said I will do this a few times now, so please comment on this entry, and I will:
1. Tell you why I friended you.
2. Associate you with something - fandom, a song, a color, a photo, a word etc.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.
7. In return, you must post this in your LJ.
So now that the important stuff is out of the way... I went to Oxford today, had an absolutely lovely day. It was warm and the sky was blue with fluffy white clouds which looked painted on. Took two American LSE friends and we went sightseeing, and punting (they were both immediately better than me, I can't steer at all) and took photos and had cream tea and now I am home and feel really sick. :( Not sure what is wrong, I just feel unwell, I think I am being punished for having a day off, which was supposed to be a celebration for finishing my essays but I haven't started writing the second one. I fail. A lot.
Also. Apparently the bees are really disappearing. :(
In better news, I am really excited about the Gossip Girl spin off, especially because there are rumours that it will be a crossover with the OC, as Lily will be living in California in the 80s will know teenage Kirsten and Jimmy Cooper! And if these two shows are in each other's canon it gives me ideas. Because Serena got into Brown and Summer went to Brown, and now I want to read a Serena/Summer fic...
Oh and THIS is pretty.

Date: 2009-04-27 08:29 pm (UTC)2. Simple Plan, CSI (do you still watch that?), alice bands!
3. You have a great sarcastic sense of humour.
4. Two elegant pairs of legs! Also, I highly doubt you remember, but in one of out maths lectures, we came up with a new way of referring to slash: cot^2 !
5. Are you happy?
6. I like all the monster ones, but my favourite one is probably Alice.

Date: 2009-04-27 08:47 pm (UTC)In many ways I am happy, but in many ways I am unhappy. There's a lot of ~stuff I've had to deal with (and that I'm STILL dealing with), but... I have a great family, great friends, and I <3 my job so much.
So, overall, I'm not 100% content with my life, but I'm pretty close. :)

Date: 2009-04-27 09:09 pm (UTC)I know you're there for me. <3
I also know that I will be okay. Just this whole "growing up" thing is a little bit weird! *clings to childhood*

2. TEA and recently toast! (there is a Paperchase in Euston and today I saw a pencil case with all the happy food on it!)
3. Your squee, you are super enthusiastic about the things you love and it is adorable and catching! Also you share my love for shallow TV and pretty things and I can talk to you about anything!
4. I have so many! Omg, just remembered the HUGE spider when I stayed in your house! And for a nicer one, was the first time we met at Trafalgar square before GOF, or am I making this up?
5. How did the reality of Oxford measure up with the dream?
6. This one!

4. Ah, I was just reminiscing about the spider the other day! Do you still have photos of it? It was MASSIVE. Nono, I remember that! I was late. XD
5. Pretty much how I expected, mixture of good and bad. The pastoral support has been surprisingly good, I thought it'd be worse tbh. Luckily, having heard everyone else's experiences I went into things with a realistic set of expectations compared to how I might have fared as a naive 18yr-old. I love it, but know I couldn't take three/four years here!
6. Gaspard Ulliel, while he was still hot. Sigh. He has not aged well.

Date: 2009-04-28 09:58 pm (UTC)You were late! There was a weird rubber bench thing. And wow if that was the first time we met, that makes events later that day even worse, I am surprised you didn't run away from the crazy! :D
I had to look him up, he is only 24! I don't think he's aged, I just think he has unfortunate hair, maybe the hot can resurface if that changes!
