katia: (Winter/I'm cold)

I can't leave the angry post out there for so long.

Nonetheless a short drama update
We never spoke of this again, well we attempted to but he dodged the question, thanking us instead for being really quiet when we got back really late on Thursday! We wanted to bring it up as leaving it be would diminish our credibility and make future threats less effective. And then things went a bit downhill as it turns out the situation in our house is a near perfect analogy of the cold war. Maybe I have gone mad with revision, (though I have not yet revised the CW) but it is astounding how well if fits. It really is a cold war, with no outright battles, only proxy wars and near misses. I am the US, A is Western Europe and I is obviously the USSR. A2 is the UN, with all her peacekeeping vaguely successful, mostly on our side but unable to effectively deal with any of the threats. L is the third world non-alliance movement. And P is China, where he was allied with the USSR and then with the West and now despite being closer to the USSR ideologically is pursuing an independent foreign policy with links with both the USSR and the US.

It is perfect! Or insane. Whatever.

In other news things are less good than last week, because I had 5 revision classes this week and spend most of it a) not working and b) franticly attempting to read my old essays so as to know something for the class, only not actually learning anything.

And I still haven't applied to LSE and I don't really know how to write this personal statement, which is so much longer than the Oxford one and just completely different!

On the bright side my food intake of today consists of a chocolate croissant for breakfast and a Belgium waffle with ice cream and maple syrup for lunch. I know that sounds awful, but oh my god it was good.

I am in the college library and really bored. I also have nothing else to say. Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Link me to something entertaining pretty please!

Aw, thank you! :D I am probably making it sound more dramatic than it actually is, but at the time of writing it truly reflects my feelings! Still up for meeting me on Wed so I can squee at you after RENT?

Don't worry, I have shared a house and so know what it feels like! I've probably written a good few housemate rants myself and nothing as bad as your situation happened so you have every right to sound dramatic. (Mine always seemed to be about cleaning...)

Yes, of course! Any idea of time/place yet?

Oh believe me cleaning is also on the list, after our housemeeting last week we came up with a scheme where we need to all do our chores by monday night, and of not pay £5 per day of lateness! So far it is working! :D

It is at the Duke of York's theatre, where we saw in Celebration, and it starts at 2:30, it's 2hr 20mins long, so how about we meet at 5 somewhere there? All the reviews say it sucks, I hope I don't hate it!
