*points at icon* That's how I felt for the last couple of days, as if time is slipping away and I am not even doing anything productive. And I mean anything at all. But it is also my official nano title and I love it very much, oh and I've updated [livejournal.com profile] kuteki_writing with some more character development, if anyone wants to read it friend it. To be very honest a big reason for me to want to have it friends only is the pretty banners available, and you know need for privacy, yeah that's it. ^_^

RL update, feel free to skip )

Now a little bit of Fandom, for I feel bad being all whiny. I haven't had much time to read fic, but I've realised there are tons of amazing artists on my flist and they've drawn some really good things recently. I love art!

[livejournal.com profile] sherant has drawn the best H/D pic I've seen in a long time here NC-17 and NOT WORK SAFE!

[livejournal.com profile] khames has coloured [livejournal.com profile] greeksong 's Draco/Snape lineart and it is such beautiful colouring.

[livejournal.com profile] monkey_puppet has drawn a Halloween pic with Severus and Lucius that has such cool colours

[livejournal.com profile] teawithvoldy's Harry is so adorable and once again I love the pretty colours.

[livejournal.com profile] yukipon's Halloween series consists of the most adorable pics ever. So far there is Hermione, Draco, Ron and Remus.

The only thing I've been reading is [livejournal.com profile] anise_anise drabbles. And there is such a perfect mix in there, from fluffy H/D to semi non-con Sirius/Harry and everything in between, these can be found here, here and here.

Enjoy! <3 Katia

It’s cold today, it was so lovely and warm, but not anymore and I don’t like it. I have a job interview in a few hours, I need that job. I think I’ll get it, it’s at an estate agency and much better than a shop assistant, which is what most people at my age work. Also, I’ve never worked before, so it would be a nice change and of course there is the money. It starts in September, which would be perfect, as I won’t be here during the summer. But I am still a bit nervous, have to decide what to wear, I need to look smart, as a good first impression is important.

Have no real Internet, on my laptop it doesn’t connect at all, on the computer which is where I am now, it does for a bit less than a minute before id disconnects again. It is probably a virus, there doesn’t seem to be another option, and I hate stupid viruses. So, all I was able to do yesterday was to connect, load a chapter and then again and again. I must have connected about a 100 times yesterday, I hope that doesn’t do anything to the computer. At least I have been able to catch up with some reading, which is nice, but I also want to read my flist, and that is next to impossible, and really frustrating, especially if there are cut tags, as I have to repeat the connect to AOL, hear the welcome message that makes me want to throw things at the computer, and if there are any images, watch helplessly until half a picture is loaded and the hear the ‘Goodbye’. Yeah, I know I can turn the sound off, but that kind of defeats the objective of self torture, so the sound stays on.

Angie, I have nearly beta-ed Bedfellows, as it really doesn’t need much, will email it to you, but not in an attachment, as that way you might get my virus, and that would be totally horrible, if you think you shouldn’t get any emails from me, tell me here.

I finally finished reading Windfallen yesterday, as I waited for the last few chapters to come out, so I could them together, and then there were exams. I will write more when I recover, but I just have to say that it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever read, and the ending was absolutely perfect, and in my opinion the happiest it could possibly be, it was just so full with hope. I will stop now, as this is getting long and I don’t won’t to make it spoilery, also haven’t had breakfast yet.

Hello, people!

Am in a strangely good mood, despite having absolutely no reasons for it, am suspecting someone put something in my drink. Well not really, but it will give me a reason for the happy mood. Because I have no reason, like at all. Next week will be hell, with mocks more mocks, and the exams are so soon, it is kinda frightening, and I haven’t really started revising, even more frightening, plus I am behind on homework again, and my maths book is missing. And here goes my good mood, well it was nice while it lasted. Wait, there is one more good thing, I am about to finally watch Starsky and Hutch for the first time. Yay! Feel the Starsky and Hutch love )

Today, I came home with the full intention of doing some work, and decided to just pop on LJ, for a sec to see whats up. Big mistake number 1. Then, I discovered a new chapter of Blood Magic, a new chapter of Queer and There, and a new chapter of The plays the thing which hadn't been updated since June. So I had to read them all, and of course I didn't regret it, but by then it was late afternoon.

Big mistake number 2 followed soon after, as I decided to look at   [livejournal.com profile] rightclicklick and well I recommend this to people only if they have numerous free hours to waste drooling,  and if not, avoid like the plague!

Much hate for Hotmail, haven't checked my mail in a week, which is very bad. Very, very bad.

So, so busy recently, no time to sleep, so not really with the time for updating either, it's really annoying to want to write something and then forgetting it.

Watched the last ever Sex and the City, yesterday and really loved the ending, it is so odd being so behind on tv things, but I wasn't spoiled so it was nice. And Big's name is John!! It was worth it finding out. Smith is so sweet, am glad someone is there for Sam. I wasn't exactly surprised about the ending, since the last sentence in the book is: Carrie and Mr Big are still together, plus the Russian was so manipulative.

Have managed to watch the OC and can definitlely see what the fuss is all about, it is the slashiest show since Smallville, am trying to bully people in taking a break from Eastenders and watching this instead. Plus Seth/Ryan,  is kinda turning into my new obsession, making me stay until the early hours of the morning looking for/reading slash with them. It is just soo sweet and new and ickle for me, right now. Not many good fics out there but some are definitely worth it. (in the mics section Telegraph Avenue) I really should watch more than three episodes before getting so into it, but it really isn't my fault. I am so easily distracted, keep jumping from fandom to fandom, well HP will always be my baby, but I can not promise to be faithful.

And the fictional characters meme, made me think of LJ Smith and all her books, which I love, love, love and well I kinda looked for slash fanfiction and found it, and I know that I may be going crazy but my love for Damon and Julian really needs to see them slashed, so uh yeah here. Stop looking a me, it really isn't my fault.

More stuff )

I know I said I was going to update more often, but I was in Germany for the last couple of days with no Internet connection. It was nice but cold in Berlin and I saw bits of the wall. Also, you can find parts of it being sold with most postcards and separately in most gift shops. Was stunned that people would actually sell/buy this. I suppose anything goes as long as it makes money, but Come On people! On another note, bought a carved stone elephant. It is really lofly, and the semi-precious stone has a very long an impressive name in German that I have no memory of. Oh well. The food in Germany was good and we got to eat a ot of it, as it was cold, so we had to go warm up in places, and therefore buy food. As I am not the biggest fan of sausages and beer, was pleasantly surprised that there is a lot more to German cuisine.

On a completely separate note, although I only lurk in the Harry Potter fandom I am aware of things happening and would like to say that I completely support gay marriage and would have put one of those Marriage is love banners if I knew how. Yes, yes I know my complete computer ignorance is laughable, but it's not my fault that both my parents do this for a living and can help me if needed.

Thats all folks, and like the German say, danke!
