Hello. How is everybody? I've had a very lovely Christmas with lots of presents and food and today I went shopping and I really don't know how to respond to the disaster and anything I could say will simply sound trive, so I won't say anything, but it would be even worse to not mention it at all and this post started all wrong, so I will stop this now.
The point was that I am in dire need to revise, I mean really revise, with a lot of hours and most importantly lack of internet access, because having a laptop might have sounded like a brlilliant idea, but in reality it is only a way to feed my addiction. So for me to have any chance to pass my 6 January modules I will need to cut down my internet time dramatically. But the problem is that I can't, I always plan to just check my email and then study, but then it is a couple of hours later and I have no force of will whatsoever. I just can't do it. So the only solution is to not turn it on at all, or at least only late at night after a hard day of revision. Because I not only need to pass, I need A's in all of them to have a hope in fulfilling my offer. I really wish I wasn't that lazy, but I am. So I won't be around much for the next couple of weeks. Or at least I hope so. No, I say so. It is written down, therefore it must be true *nods*
And now, The ficlet that remipunx requested. It is H/D and fluffy, I hope you like it.
“Oh no, no way. There is nothing you can do to change my mind.” Harry said with conviction, moving to the room’s farthest corner and placing a chair between himself and Draco. This was going to end messily and Harry knew from experience that when Draco wanted something he didn’t stop for anything until he got it, well not this time.
“Why are you making such a big deal out of it Harry? Because it isn’t. It is only a dress.” Draco said, his voice falsely patient, face blank.
But Harry wasn’t fooled, he shook his head once more and gave the dress the briefest of glances, afraid it might jump on him or something if he stared.
“It’s not only a dress Draco. It is a pink dress. And not only that, it is a pink lacy dress.”
“But Harry, it is all for charity, a good cause remember, for people without homes and all that.” Draco insisted, pouting to increase the effect of his persuasive argument.
Harry didn’t normally believe that the best defence was offence, but he was running out of options and trying to suppress the image of hundreds of people bursting into laughter at the sight of him, answered with force.
“Why don’t you do it too then, if you are so into charity.”
Well, he was tired and it was late, so Harry’s clever retort was lost on the way out.
“I am not the one with the saving people complex, you are, and besides I took you in, didn’t I? If you ask me I’ve done my charity for at least the next five years.”
Harry chose to ignore the taking in part, it was not the time for that, besides Draco was smirking in a way that showed he was able to taste his latest win. He had to do something and soon. The only thing that occurred to him was risky, and normally one of Draco’s weapons, but Harry was desperate.
“You do realise that the auction is going to take a whole evening and then I will not be back until midnight, and that is a lot of time apart. Time, which we can spend quite pleasurably, I might add.” To punctuate his point, Harry walked sultrily (at least that’s what he thought, the actual affect was more amusing than sexy) across the room and kissed Draco, taking his time to carefully explore the blond’s mouth. When he ended the kiss, both were panting. Draco gave him a proud smile.
“You know Harry, I am such a good teacher, you have managed to persuade me.”
Harry sighed in deep relief, already plotting the quickest death for the wretched dress, when something made him look at Draco. The smile was still there and something in his eyes worried Harry.
“I promise to be the one that buys you. Now put that dress on, to see if any adjustments have to be made and I will go and get the make up.”
