Distracted by shiny things

i second southbank, however general advice would be alcohol and talking, last two boys who asked me out both mummbled something about dutch courage as they attempted to formulate sentences while i watched in a sort of amused and detached way, not for the lack of interest on my part or anything, i just find these types of conversations quite awful really, and to be put off at all costs! both were relatively successful in their quests however, so perhaps talking is a good way to start.
