Wah

Hmm, I don't know what to do.

There is a tube station Bop tonight, (have to dress up as something to do with an underground station, sounds stupid but it has potential) for which a bunch of us was were planning to dress up as Oxford Circus, that is clowns and stuff. This fell apart as people changed their mind at the last moment, and as a result I have nothing to wear, I am not being a lone clown and can't keep buying wings, besides Angel is too easy, lots of people are bound to do that one.

So, I am costumeless for tonight's bop and quite pissed off at the fickleness of the others, spend ages in a fancy dress shop looking lost and was not offered any advice. I don't think I will go, the Bops have not been great so far, and I've always dressed up, but I want to do something instead otherwise it will seem like I am sulking in my room.

Also was informed by the grad student that marks our Logic work that the exam is fiendishly difficult in a positively gleeful way as well as that PPE is meant to have the most workload from all Oxford undergraduate courses, which no one told me when I applied but I am forced to agree. *goes back to econ q's*

Awww, wish I had something helpful to suggest. I have a sparkly cowboy hat, devil horns, a crown, a school uniform and a tutu and will happily run them round to Univ (it is Univ, right? If not then wherever) if they'll be of any use.

You could wear combats and be All Saints (although you may have to spend all night signing Never Ever just to make it clear...could get a bit annoying)

You could wear school uniform and be Grange Hill.

You could wear a duffel coat and carry some marmalade sandwiches and be Paddington.

You could wear a crown and some acorns and be Royal Oak.

You could wear tennis clothes and be Wimbledon.

Okay, I'm done. Sorry none of them were particularly helpful...we don't really do bops here, we're quite dull, we just go to the bar.

Hee, you are quite wonderful! Thank you for all the suggestions, in a very last minute way I have decided to be Red Bridge, that is dress all in red and have bricks stuck to me, ridiculous, but at this stage I am beyond caring, they freaking make us dress up every week! I even briefly considered being a Bond girl, but without Bond it would just look like I've dressed up slutty once again so didn't.

It is Univ, and thank you! Whee! Where are you at? I should know this...

Keeeeeeeeeeeeeble. (Sorry. Becoming habit).

Ohhh, the Red Bridge idea sounds awesome. We've had one bop and it was fun but I think I'd get a bit sick of it every week. Some of my friends here are setting up a website, sure you'll hear about it next term, to let students swop formal dresses and bop costumes. Kind of like ebay but free and just within the uni. So hopefully your dilemma will become a thing of the past.

Heh, I know what you mean! We chant Uniiiiiiiv all the time, even at the bops when there is no one else there.

Oh that idea is awesome, I have wings and a wand, devil's horns, a scythe and a witch's hat right now which I would be very willing to swap.

Also I think I found and added you on Facebook, at least I hope it is you.
