The Goblet of Fire Trailer.
It is beautiful. GoF is my favourite HP book and I love every part of it so very much. I am more excited by the film than by HBP in some ways, I think because it is safe and known. The trailer is wonderful though, you can see how Emma's hair becomes better and beter each year (and by that I mean less and less like Hermione's) Not saying any spoilers but if you do see it, comment because I do want to talk about it very much! Wheeee, GoF!!!
I was sketching graphs till half eleven today, so I think that it has been a well spend day. :)

Btw - I never learnt to graph sketch. Get a proper graphics calculator and you don't need to know how. Unless it's P3-non-calculator? (I don't do that module)

Date: 2005-05-08 08:50 am (UTC)Cedric does look right, Victor Krum doesn't. At all. He looks way too old for Hermione. And yeah, Fleur is not that pretty, she is meant to be irresistible, and she is really isn't.
We are not allowed graphic calculators in the exams! Are you?? That's not fair. I hate those stupid parametric graphs. :((

Date: 2005-05-08 11:15 am (UTC)Hmm. Not sure if my calculator actually draws parametric...
Krum looks a bit too much like a chav-bad boy. He need longer hair - more of a miniSnape.

Date: 2005-05-08 11:28 am (UTC)He needs longer hair and bushier eyebrows and a bigger nose, although he is not exactly unattractive, so I shouldn't be complaining.

Date: 2005-05-08 08:55 am (UTC)Aww, I love your icon, Ron is growing up very well I have to say.
I don't like Krum though. But the Dragon was great and so was everything else. I hope they don't mess up my favourite book.

Date: 2005-05-08 11:10 am (UTC)I hate having to wait for things like this. And I was a poster. Copious posters. And I want to see the film.
*excited!*

Date: 2005-05-08 11:29 am (UTC)You were a poster? *is confused* I don't understand...

Date: 2005-05-08 11:34 am (UTC)I finally understand why I should read things through before posting them. Too much anticipation of books and films is having an adverse effect on my typing abilities.
How amazing did the dragon look in the trailer though? And I knoew everyone has already said this but I like the bit where thay all age through the four years. I couldn't get the trailer to take up my full screen though which was a pain.

Date: 2005-05-09 09:14 pm (UTC)I love the bit with their aging, makes everything so much more real and having all the books with the same actors really is good. I hope they don't get too old for the other books. The dragon is cool, but not at all like I imagined it, I saw it as more fairy tale dragon, you know?

Date: 2005-05-10 07:53 pm (UTC)Plus it doesn't matter about the poster any more because they've put the comma in. Praise and rejoyce in the power of fandom.

Date: 2005-05-11 06:45 pm (UTC)I know! Hee, we are the powerful ones. And a poster would be awesome, I want one too, I never thought aboit buying one before. They do sell them, right? *lives in the little place called the internet*

Date: 2005-05-08 04:11 pm (UTC)I'm not liking the Harry/Hermione-ness and RG's hair is *big*. Ahem. Megsy is right, Fleur isn't right, but then again I'm not sure if it'd be possible to find anyone perfect for the role.
The music sounds good and ohmygosh! Michael Gambon is wonderful. I loff him. If I get AAA, I'll tag along and see it with you. :)
I was always hopeless with graphs. Ack.

Date: 2005-05-09 09:25 pm (UTC)You will! And I will! And lots of us can go and it will be really, really good! You have no idea how happy that made me feel when I read it, I hadn't even thought that I will be at Uni then. Wow. How incredibly awesome. It just made it all so much more real. Oxford You know. I try not to think about it too much because I panic. Getting an A in maths will be hell. And I don't know what I'll do if I don't.. But, no I won't spam this comment with my never ending fears.
So, how are you? I hardly have time to read my flist (more guilt there) and have not talked to you since you've been back, which you know. I'll shut up now.

Date: 2005-05-25 02:51 pm (UTC)Yes, and the special effects should be good. If worst comes to worst I'll just shut my eyes and listen to John Williams! :)
You're right about Fleur, sometimes people look better when they're actually doing something. Maybe she's a really good actress and that's why she was chosen, will just have to wait and see.
A whole gang of us watching HP should be marvellous fun. I know what you mean about not thinking about it. I alternate between trying to use it as a motivational tool and not thinking about it to avoid feeling depressed. The whole thing is rather confusing.
I'm good thanks! Alas, now I'm the one who's dreadfully behin with my flist. Ooops. Things are busy but it's my last day of school tomorrow which is excellent. I can organise things much more effectively and concentrate on my weak points rather than pointless revision sessions at school. :)
