I've been so very busy I hardly have time to glance at my flist, I hope I haven't missed anything much.

I was payed my first real paycheck yesterday and am so rich now, well more than ever before! So I went shopping today by myself, I never go anywhere on my own because I like talking and people tend to have an uncalled for prejudice for people that talk to themselves. But. It was really nice, it was cold and crisp and busy, people already stressed with Christmas nearing and dashing about with bags and children, so the holiday atmosphere was complete. I bought Christmas cards for you people and all I need now is to write them and buy stamps and send them, am feeling exceptionally organised. I also bought black fishnets because I needed some and my red fishnets are not as practical. I almost bought POA and Troy, but even with an offer it was too expensive and so I didn't and I spend ages in a bookshop and nearly bought tons of things and at the end didn't. But it was great to just take my time and have a look around and enjoy myself. I was going to go to the Cinema and see Enduring Love but the earliest showings were too late, I might still go later today, I really want to see that film.

I have another university offer and my Oxford interview is in a week, I will stay there for three days and I am extremely terrified, so I might not be around at all next week as I need to prepare and sleep. Wah! So soon! scaredscaredscaredscared...

I am doing the wish list thing because I am selfish and I want things, but I would also want to get things for you, so link me to your wish list if you think I haven't seen it.

Step One

- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free - do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1. A new layout! I have no skills with HTML and don't even know how to make a header. :(

2.  POA calendar. I saw it when shopping today and pictures very pretty.

3. Book recs, (any apart from heavy fantasy) especially gay themed. I need books people!

4. B/W HP icons, I have extra icon spaces that need filling.

5. To be accepted in Oxford. If you have any connections....I am willinng to pay with sexual favours.

6. A surprise I don't care what as long as It's nice, but I lurve surprises :)

7. Hair Straigteners that work. I have three pairs that don't.

8. Reviews for one of my fics. I don't care which, the recent drabbles I wrote are short enough to only take a couple of minutes of your time, just a short, simple review.

9. For all of you to be happy and have a lovely New Year!

10. I can't think of anything else, so um do something that makes you happy and tell me about it!
